The Village Cafe - Ramsay Creek

There is a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere at this restaurant. The menu is simple, offering sandwiches, hot dishes, cold drinks, and coffee. The food appeared fresh and we enjoyed sticky date cakes with caramel sauce, cream, and ice cream, as well as a roasted chicken roll with chips and gravy, an iced chocolate, and a thick shake. The chips were delicious. Although the restaurant is not air conditioned, we sat on the deck and were comfortable thanks to a refreshing breeze. The staff were friendly and open to conversation, which added a personal touch to our experience.

After spending a few hours exploring the captivating Rockhampton Heritage Village, we opted to have lunch at the Village Café, conveniently located near the Village Parking. It was an excellent decision! The staff was extremely friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the menu offered a wide variety of options. The setting was beautiful, quiet, and clean, making it the perfect ending to a memorable day at the village!

Tucked away, quiet, relaxing feel about it. Nothing flash, but nice. Simple menu, sandwiches, some hot foods, cold drinks and coffee. Food looked fresh. We had sticky date cake, came with caramel sauce, cream and ice cream. A roast chicken roll with chips and gravy, iced chocolate and a thick shake. All good. Chips looks good. It is not air conditioned, but we sat out on the deck with a lovely fresh breeze, and enjoyed not having air conditioning for once. It's not like we were doing anything more then sitting around. Staff friendly and open to a little chat (not aged 15 - 18 years old) which added a personal feel about this visit.

After a couple of hours visiting the intriguing and exciting Rockhampton Heritage Village we decided to have lunch at the Village Café which is easily accessed from the Village carpark. What a great choice! Very friendly staff, great coffee and a wide variety of Menu items all contained in a nice, quiet and clean location. Put the icing on a memorable day at the Village!

The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for drink refills and the greeting we received upon arrival was fantastic.
