The Katsu - Raleigh

I had the vegetarian rice bowl, which was essentially a poke bowl. It was enjoyable, although a bit on the pricey side, which is typical for the Morgan Food Hall. I would have rated it five stars if the portion size matched the cost, or if the price was lower for the amount I received. Overall, I would recommend it!

Ordered delivery and they entirely messed up half the order. We had ordered and sandwich and it was just straight up not in the bag. The bowl that we did receive didn?t taste very good at all, not fresh and a weird flavor, and the little rice podssprinkled all over it added an unpleasant styrofoam texture.

This place should be the standard for how food should be made and presented. I cook for a living and let me tell you, the presentation was beautiful and each component of the dish was fresh and tasted amazing. I got the Seoul bowl...ate it, wrotethis review without a photo, and went back to order another one just for the photo and because its so amazing. And their Togoboxes are compostable!

I discovered stringy pieces of plastic in my bowl after taking a few bites. I returned to the counter to inform them, and they explained that this occasionally happens due to the packaging. I decided to request a refund. I'm not certain how frequently this occurs, but it seems common enough for them to be aware of it. I'm also unsure how much I might have ingested—yikes. I've previously had wonderful meals here, but I wanted to alert others about this plastic issue.

We ordered the bulgogi noodle bowl and the Seoul bowl, and both were excellent choices.
