Cook Out - Raleigh

One of the better cook outs I have been to. Was in town for a meeting and busted a burger and a shake. Bother we?re great seriously best milkshakes on the planet for a good price. Also got some tasty onion rings. But the best part?the dude working the window?older guy?cracking jokes and giving everyone a little busting?made the experience great?please management give this guy a raise! This window guy sets your place apart from all the rest.

I had my first meal at Cookout recently. I've enjoyed their chocolate milkshakes many times, and they are wonderful. However, the burger was just average, the onion rings were cold, and the fries were soggy. On the bright side, the milkshake was fantastic once again. It's definitely a great spot for milkshakes!

This particular cookout is not in the best of neighborhoods. During my visit, there was a panhandler snooping around and it made my partner and I very uncomfortable. Just be aware of that, even more so if you're ordering from the walk-up window. They also forgot my straw.

The food here is hot and served quickly. This family-owned business takes pride in owning most of their operations. They prepare everything fresh, and the consistency is impressive. They outpace everyone in speed and even employ local kids! However, I'm not sure if the milkshakes are made with real milk.

The lines were long, but the service was good and so was the food.
