Chilango - Raleigh

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch tacos. The ambiance is pleasant and they offer a salsa bar with avocado sauce! The chips they serve are unique but very tasty. Plus, it's conveniently located near various international markets such as an Asian store, African store, and an International food market.

We got Al Pastor tacos and Papusas to-go. They were amazing! They came with 4 different sauces ranging from mild to hot. I would definitely consider this place a Raleigh hidden gem!

I have returned to this restaurant multiple times since discovering it because the tacos are delicious! The homemade tortillas are sturdy and don't fall apart, and the salsa bar is top-notch. You should definitely give it a try.

The best tacos in North Carolina! I drive over an hour to come here once or twice a month to dine in and take food to go. The prices for a single taco may seem a bit high, but the generous portion of meat and handcrafted tortillas make it well worth it in my opinion. I wish they would open a location in Burlington, as they would outshine any other restaurant. I have tried many places in my hometown, but none can compare. I highly recommend this place!

Definitely loved the tacos!! I also enjoyed the chicharrones instead of the traditional chips and salsa other places offer. The tortillas are fresh and the tacos had plenty of meat in them. I haven't found a good taco spot in a while and I will definitely be coming back!! Excellent service!
