Contribuiți la feedbackDid a bite go to Raleigh? The decor just makes a smile and memory. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The cookies had a unique chewing texture and were absolutely amazing! I can't get over the size of the hotcakes! Apparently if you win three in 45 minutes or less you win a free teen shirt? Good luck! Five hours later and I don't want to eat yet!
The staff was very friendly and helpful to be here for the first time. If you eat in the mood for a pancake contest its 3 lbs of pancakes, the only 3 pancakes they are hanging over the plate large you pay for them but if you finish the plate in 45 minutes Your shirt The food is great for the southern home kitchen. Images are from beef tips and rice Turkey and dressing butter beans collar and more. Is definitely a place to try, we go back and try other dishes.
Discover this Raleigh gem today (Thank you with Google reviewers! . That's exactly what others have said. Food is south and of course huge portions. The ambience and the hanging antiques will lead you to times long past. It's a good thing because it can wait to sit and wait for your food. Much to see and watch! I ordered the roasted chicken steak with white pepper sauce, egg over medium, seasoned apples and cut tomatoes. The chicken was tender and moist; well seasoned. The seasoned apples are not excessively sweet and cinnamon. As I like it. Hubby ordered the French toast with grains, eggs and sausages (which is so sharp). Molases and syrup are in the table for the French toasts. We chose cookies; flaky and sits at least 2 inches high. Some molasses on them that was on the table along with the syrup. Our server was great. The line goes past the door and over the road, so either come early or wait until the brunch crowd dies down. Oh, it is located on this picturesque side of Eastern Raleigh; part of the road is stones. Enjoy and let me know how the trout or catfish taste when you order it.
Come hungry. Be happy. We came to a busy time on Saturday morning and received great service and delicious food. It's a must if you're in downtown Raleigh. So delicious!
