Great views terrible food.booked table on right hand side of the deck got there and was seated at the left side. Been here many times before but won’t go back prawn linguine swimming in supposedly basil oil .no taste awful .really disappointing.staff terrible..awful food

I had the worst experience with the fish at this restaurant. The whole cod was full of bones and barely any fish meat. It's not worth spending your money here. The staff was also very rude. I have visited this place before, but this time I was extremely disappointed.

We popped in here with some friends and we were able to get a table near a window with an outlook out over the beach and ocean. Perfection. Our table ordered, beetroot salad- given 10/10 for quantity flavour and beetroot perfectly cooked. The seafood basket was full of fish but probably just had too much fried food. (Would have been good to have some food not battered) I had the calamari with chips and salad. The calamari was perfectly cooked, chips perfect but the salad was inedible as it was soaked and limp from all the tasteless dressing that was mixed through it. We ordered the Korean corn cobs from the specials menu which we shared amongst us and though Pricy at $14 for 3 large cobs…. It was so incredibly tasty. Definitely a great place to eat out and so much to choose from on the menu. The staff were very friendly.

This was the first time visiting since renovations. We ordered the seafood basket and the California pizza. The seafood basket is all deep fried, nothing fresh, all packet items. The only fresh thing on the plate was the salad which was full of brown, limp salad leaves, obviously yesterday's. Had to call a waitress and mention this (have never complained to wait staff before, and have also never left a review anywere before). She did not care. Pizza was also underdone. Unfortunately we left most of both meals. We have previously dined there on multiple occasions, always having great food and it being a spot that we brought others to for special events. So, so disappointed in the whole experience. Unfortunately, this will be our last time.

The food at this restaurant does not live up to the hype. The menu is typical pub fare, and I had the frozen fish with pre-cooked chips and soggy salad. Now that the venue has been renovated, it is time to update the menu and consider hiring a new head chef.
