Contribuiți la feedbackThat was our first restaurant together and every year it gets better! her thin cut bark filled with chorizo and komté is worth it in the hell for.! excellent eating, wonderful staff! What else can they ask?
We enjoyed two meal times in le globe during our stay in quimper once in the evening, once in the afternoon. Both the greeting was great, the service was excellent and the eating was really delicious. we especially liked the friendliness of the staff. they. saw how to eat served! a great place to eat.
Visited here on a busy Saturday night. we were served very quickly. eating was nice and cheap. personal very friendly with excellent English, many thanks x
Ok so a bit of a topical food but we visited Le Globe following a recommendation from the Hotel De Gare. I have eaten all over the world and I can hold my hand on my heart and say the fillet steak and foie gras...was the most tender, tasteful and sublime cut of meat/dish I have ever put in my mouth. Foie gras is not an item I would order on a menu as a rule due to worry over ethical treatment but the dish was served with the addition so both my husband and I chose the steak with trepidation. Steak any cut is generally a disappointment unless you find a chef with a class butcher and an understanding of meat and how it should be cooked. It’s not something I order for the above reasons but I will always try passionate recommendations. Everything about Le Globe was perfect. The decor, the staff, the wine and of course the food. If you are EVER in Quimper I implore you to give Le Globe a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Ate at this restaurant twice during my trip to Quimper. It is quite central along the river side. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good. Ordered the le globe salad both times which was very good (7/10), lamb Tajine (7.5/10) steak filled...with cheese and chorizo (6/10 was a bit rich for me, but might be more enjoyable for someone else), and chocolate fondant dessert (8.5/10). The food in general is a mix of world cuisine (hence the le globe name I suppose). The restaurant is smallish and cosy, but not cramped.
