A W Restaurants - Quesnel

Not quite quarter to closing and the doors are locked and a customer can’t get in. Travelling for some time and wanting to make an order and use the washroom. Personally, I’ll be taking this A&W off my list of stops when travelling. It always sucked, but if customer came in at 9:59 we would always provide them with service. I’d been stopping here many times over the years driving North and South in this province.Very disappointed.I would like to add that a person I spoke with outside said he was there at 20 to 10 and the doors were locked and he was ignored, he had 2 friends on their way, and another fella walking his dog was walking away disappointed while I spoke with the first guy about the poor service.

Went through the Drive Thru, ordered onion rings, and they were fresh! Hot and Delicious!

Very understaffed. My low rating is directed at the owners/managers. The young lady that took our order was very new and in training but had no one to help her (she didn 't know how to combo a meal so I paid a little extra). She was very overwhelmed. My order was incomplete as was the other couple that were also waiting. The other front line staffer was trying to pick up the pieces and correct things. I really can 't fault the young ladies that were clearly undertrained. The store was also not clean. Again, I think this is a direct result of not having a proper level of staff. I will gladly change this review if the owner has a good explanation as to why they were so understaffed. One incident doesn 't dictate an entire operation.

This A&W has the most disgusting bathrooms I've ever seen in a food serving establishment. It was pretty clear they hadn't cleaned in several days, possibly weeks. Dirty floors, walls and doors , hair on the toilet in the ladies. Dirty sinks and overflowing garbage. If the managers and owners think this is fine, I'd hate to see their kitchen. I did not order food after seeing the washroom and I'll never eat there again.

They had a good run but it is over. I used to really enjoy coming here but the last two times coming here have ended it for me. I find it is typical once a place stops hiring locals and relies entirely on imported foreign workers.Order lots because only half of it arrives and you'll become too tired from waiting and arguing with weaponized confusion to really care that you get your entire order.Don't expect any fast service since the workers are usually too busy visiting and hanging out.The kitchen is critically understaffed and it takes quite a while for your order. If you order anything that requires a plate and utensils be prepared for the camping experience of paper plates and throw-away utensils which is also a waste.
