Contribuiți la feedbackAfter 5 PM, there’s nothing to do at the lodge or in the indoor water park, which also closes at 7 PM. Once you finish with the water and theme parks, you’re pretty much done for the day. We tried mini golf and visited nearby arcades, but that was about it. If you don’t have a car, you’ll feel stuck inside. Here are a few suggestions to improve the experience: - Add a kids' club - Create an arcade room - Set up a small area for soccer or another outdoor sport - Build an outdoor patio with music, even just a radio - Offer family activities after 6 PM This is a family resort, yet families are left wondering what to do after 5 PM. Not all kids go to bed early, and this was quite disappointing. Now, let’s talk about breakfast. Yes, it’s included, but it’s not good. I’m not picky, but the eggs were so hard and rubbery they could be used as weapons! The sausage looked unappetizing, and the breakfast options were mainly toast, bagels, cereals, and coffee. There were no healthy choices, aside from a banana. I suggest lowering the prices and allowing guests to opt out of breakfast to compensate for the cost. We ended up eating three meals out, and Six Flags doesn’t allow snacks or picnics, so unless we ate before or after, we were stuck paying for overpriced junk. The outdoor water park was slightly more lenient with snacks, so we managed to bring a few kids' snacks, but that was about it. There is a Starbucks on-site, but the coffee was overpriced— even with the conversion rate, it’s still too expensive. Again, there were no healthy or breakfast options beyond sugary items or donuts. If you don’t have a car, you’re left with either the awful breakfast or going out. My 5-year-old had a great time, but I wouldn't return to this lodge, nor would I recommend it to anyone! As for the hotel room, it was a standard room that definitely needs some TLC. It was clean but old and dated—even for a lodge. There were no working plugs, the plaster walls were cracked, and the tub/shower combo was falling apart. We could only charge our devices using one outlet at the sink, and we had to take turns. The staff seemed uninformed and not very friendly. Overall, our stay was okay, but I won’t be coming back!
For the second year, I reserved a weekend getaway for my son and his family, making it an official tradition now. The kids absolutely loved their special room, and we created amazing memories both there and at the Great Escape. They mentioned how comfortable the beds were, and there were countless activities available at the Lodge. To top it off, there was a fantastic live band on Saturday night, and we danced together the entire time. We even had the chance to witness a wedding, and I felt privileged to watch the beautiful moments between the bride and her father during their photos. We’re all excited to continue this tradition in 2024 for our third year!
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and attentive; they really go the extra mile for their guests. My kids had such a great time that they can't wait to go back. They spent the entire day enjoying the water park and didn't even want to leave the lodge to explore Lake George!
A good replacement for great wolf lodge for Canadians that do not want to drive through TO to get to Niagara. Close to Montreal and ottawa no more than 4 hour drive. Staff were friendly. The hotel is tired looking but not surprised with amount of families that come through it. They do have plenty of staff cleaning and providing services. They offered an add on for breakfast 25 plus tax for the whole family it was worth it. Do bring your own snacks, drink bottles etc to save some because everything on site is expensive. We didn’t eat at the restaurants on-site. We stayed two nights because we did not want to be rushed it was our start to summer vacation. If you get the passes with your stay you have access before checkin and after checkout which is great. Outdoor waterpark closes at 5pm, amusement park at 6pm and indoor waterpark 8pm. There is an arcade too. So plan your arrival accordingly to maximize your access and time.
Room was clean. Check in/out both times was quite lengthy needs to be worked on. Indoor/outdoor parks were fine...we had fun. Wish they had better coffee in room or complimentary coffee in lobby. Starbucks in lobby was overpriced moreso than if you drove to one down the street.
