Raices Colombianas - Queens

The food was really good, and the service was pleasant. However, our waitress did forget one of our orders. She was very kind and completely apologetic, so it wasn't a big deal. The only downside was that the music was quite loud due to the lively atmosphere, which made it difficult to have a conversation.

The food is average, but the service is disappointing. The delivery was particularly bad; I waited for an hour and 40 minutes, even though I was initially told it would be 30 minutes. They had no idea where the delivery driver was, which was frustrating. This poor experience really detracted from the food itself. I won't be ordering from here again.

Dinner was great, although we were too full for dessert. The ambiance was very much in line with the typical Colombian vibe; they played great music, people got up to dance, and there was a live band that played until the end of the night. I would have given this place five stars, but the menu was difficult to read at night. The dark font combined with low lighting made it tricky. They also automatically added a gratuity for parties of five or more, but since my group had only four people, it was surprising when it was added. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Me and my boyfriend were really excited about the bandeja paisa and the waitress rolled her eyes so hard! I thought she was dying. She said is not all that!!!! My boyfriend ordered regardless. When ordering the drinks she suggested other drinks because the ones we wanted aren’t good enough, based on her taste. She actually changed my mind about my entree and I ended up ordering something else. Food was good but services is horrible!

Good place for enjoy traditional Colombian food, I think the soup of the day are good choice.
