Flower Brook Mifen House - Queens

I am impressed by this little restaurant. it is beautifully decorated. we ordered bark soup and winton. both came very tasty with good part. the service was fast and friendly. we also bought their handmade dumplings. the owner was nice enough to find an insulation bag to keep the frozen dumplings cold for our trip. will definitely come back when in this area.

Ordered 2 dish, the lamp trip noodle quality is good, looks good, but taste is not my style. The green pepper fish fillet have no green pepper( and only few very thin slice of fish, dose not look like the picture at all, not even 30% like the picture.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for tasty noodle soup! We sampled both the beef and lamb noodle soups, and were impressed with the generous portions of noodles and meat in each large bowl. The flavors of the broth met my expectations for a quality dining experience in Flushing. The service was excellent, with our server being friendly and engaging - we even chatted about the basketball game on TV. The restaurant's interior is elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. I would definitely return to try more dishes from their menu.

I recently tried the amazing noodle dishes at this restaurant. If you enjoy flavors from Guizhou or Hakka cuisine and love noodles, then this is the place for you. The spicy and sour flavors paired perfectly with the bark or lamb. They offer a variety of noodles such as rice vermicelli (mifen), cellophane noodles, or wheat noodles, and all of them are delicious. On 6/5/2022, my family and I had a fantastic lunch here. We especially loved the lamb mifen and we finished every last drop of the broth. Everyone also enjoyed the sliced lamb and bark meat dishes.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years, even before it underwent a recent renovation. The cuisine reminds me of the flavors from Yunnan, my hometown. The staff is friendly, the dishes are beautifully presented, always delicious, and reasonably priced. The new look of the renovated space is impressive, and I am excited to try their hot pot and drinks now that they have them on the menu.
