Crabby's Seafood - Queens County

This is no longer Crabby's its now Wood Islands seafood & take out but don't let that or is looks scare you. The Food was Awesome, the place clean and the people super friendly. Sea food chowder, crab cakes and the lobster rolls are incredible. Believe it or not they sell fresh seafood out of the other end. We found it looking for the light house and went back multiple times. One of PEI's best kept secrets. 2 thumbs up, more if I had em.

We stopped here on our way to Wood Island Lighthouse to fill our empty bellies. As you drive up it is literally a tiny shack in the midst of fishermen storage sheds. It doesn't look like much but it is worth the stop. We both had the hot lobster roll and let me tell you it was heaven! They used very little mayo to coat the lobster and the meat was hot on a toasted hot dog bun. I seriously regret not ordering too. Kind staff and very quick service. Leave a note in the guestbook before you go!

We had great food! This is a great place for lunch. You can watch the ferry arrive. I had the mussels, hot lobster roll, and the scallop burger! Does not disappoint!

BEST. Seafood sandwich EVER, ANYWHERE. We saw it while waiting for the ferry and were really hungry. The owner had just brought in the catch of the day, and that's what we ate .... Yum!!!

We came to the shack for lobster rolls and left very happy! No pretense, just a shack and outstanding lobster rolls. Our server (owner?) was playing Dave Brubeck and deeply immersed in the lobster roll zone! After placing and receiving our order, no fuss, no muss, we enjoyed the breezes at a splintery picnic table. This was my kind of place, focused on just plain great seafood.
