Friendly helpful staff. the food came out in a reasonable time and was hot. I had the lasagne, the salat was fresh, the garlic bread was perfectly boiled (not burned) and the chips were fat and clobular! the plates were removed from the table and we were asked if we wanted something else. what a great experience around

Booking was made in advance and unfortunately there was a malfunction in the kitchen the evening before which meant the Roast was unavailable. I received a call before my visit explaining this which was much appreciated. Genuinely trying to manage the customers expectation! Excellent service, everything was served nice and hot and our server could not do enough to help. A lovely young man, sorry I can't remember his name. Well done!

Sonia was lovely, very friendly and welcoming! Never been in here before but was so worth it, had a lovely light lunch. Can’t thank Sonia enough for the service she provided : 5 stars

Warmly welcomed. Staff very pleasant and friendly, even when I challenged them by asking to move table twice! They still have an unflustered smile. The restaurant was clean and tables were all wiped down after customers left and glasses etc cleared away instantly. We opted for a carvery and a meals off the menu. All was served to our table fresh, hot and tasty. Hubby said it’s the best burger he’s had on a long while, packed with tasty filling. The carvery was well stocked with 3 choices of meat, plenty fresh veg and my favourite cauliflower and cheese! Excellent place to mix with friends, family or even just yourself for an tasty meal in lovely surroundings. The garden is perfect if you have kids, you can relax with a coffee afterwards watching them play on the slides/play equipment whilst you lounge in the sun. Great Sunday. We will definitely be back

I visited the cafe here with my mom a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it was fantastic. The food was delicious, served piping hot, and the portions were very generous.
