Went in to buy an ice cream cake for my sister's birthday. They did have a good selection of cakes ready to choose from. They did write happy birthday on the cake. I did have to wait a little bit for them to open because their hours were different due to covid. Other than that it was a good experience.
This review highlights a negative experience related to the treatment of individuals with disabilities. The restaurant staff was very accommodating, especially after having to deal with a significant mess left in the bathroom by one person. This individual was not only rude but also refused to take responsibility for his actions. It's important to remember that the restroom is meant for customers. Following the incident, the staff received multiple phone calls, prompting them to contact the police, who were able to trace the caller's numbers. Overall, the staff at this restaurant are friendly, and I've never encountered any issues during my visits. Perhaps if the individual's family had stepped in, the situation could have been managed better.
I'm somewhat torn about my rating. I've always enjoyed ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and today was no exception when I indulged in two scoops—delicious! Five stars for the ice cream itself. However, the customer service left much to be desired. When I asked for a water cup, the staff member looked directly at the nearly empty water pitcher I was standing next to (which I checked before asking) and questioned, "Are there no water cups?" Additionally, there was another employee loitering in the back of the shop; it was busy at 8:00 PM, and all the tables were dirty. We ended up using baby wipes to make our table somewhat presentable. Speaking of cleanliness, the baby table and chair could definitely use some attention. And why are all the chairs held together with tape? Despite these issues, it was clear that the place gets a lot of foot traffic, indicating good business. They really need to invest in new chairs. Overall, the ice cream was great, which kept my experience from being too negative. We were able to sit, eat, and enjoy ourselves. Let's hope they can improve on these points in the future.
I have a severe wheat allergy, and I visited the restaurant with my daughter this afternoon. I informed the young lady who took my order about my allergy, and the manager, who had trained her, came over to guide her on the necessary precautions. The steps they took to prevent cross-contamination were the most thorough I’ve ever encountered. I was incredibly impressed!
