Public House Diner - Quechee

They need to take care of there drive in the winter months... Just bottomed out trying to get up their drive... right front fender is ready to fall off. If you don't have a truck or an SUV... don't attempt the drive in the winter. (until they get the problem fixed)

Friendly staff and great breakfast items. Great atmosphere with an old-fashioned diner car.

Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. The corned beef hash was excellent. Also tried the tomato bisque and their version of an open face Reuben, which were also fresh and tasty. Service was very good.

Entered the Open Diner very hungry and looking forward to a late lunch. However, my friend and I stood waiting for a hostess to acknowledge us. At one point there was 3 employees at the hostess station, my friend went to the bathroom and I waited, then I went to the bathroom while she waited. (I took a while because the bathrooms were occupied). My friend informed me when I returned to her that they are no longer seating people because they have a large party and will be closing! What?! The hostess that finally greeted my friend, over 15 minutes after we entered, made the comment that she should have told us when we came in . Thankfully, this lead us to finding a fantastic tavern in NH.
