Top Of The Fair Restaurant - Québec

My first visit to Top of the Fair in many years was disappointing. The horse race was exciting, but the food was not up to par. Our party of 7 had a table, but the chicken was dry and the burgers were small, cold, and dried out. All four of us got cold fries with our meals, which was a major letdown. Top of the Fair used to be known for their top-notch food, but they seem to have lost their touch.

A safe bet at the top of the fair: food is bad, service is Worse. I bet you do. The horse race experience will stay with you as you will probably end with the troops as I did from my meal.

This restaurant should shut down and call it quits. It fails in every aspect - the service is terrible, the menu is too expensive, and the food quality is frightening. No other words are needed.

Buffet was decent and food tasted good, but our server was clearly high on something: first it was entertaining, but it began to become a security risk. Not sure why management never noticed her unacceptable behavior:

We purchased one of the promotional packages that included the buffet as well a voucher for betting on the horses and some other entertainment in the building. The buffet was a little on the small side, but the food was pretty good. There were a...few different types of meat available, several veggies and a couple of types of salad and desserts. I love the fact that you can watch the horse races from the comfort of your table. There is lots of free parking just out front of the casino building.
