Contribuiți la feedbackAn excellent Quebec traditional brunch. Choice of cold cuts, followed by a hazelnut cream fresh/ goat cheese/Griff gel plate. Then a mushroom with eggshell is our fourth course a salmon cake. The dessert was a squash cake. All paired with wonderfully cleaned coffee. The staff is very kind to explain the dishes in our brunch in detail. All served in a beautiful rustic environment
We had such a good time! If you enjoy food and talk about food, you have a place at the (convenient) bar that overlooks directly into the kitchen room. The chef Sarah was so nice and shared her inspirations, technique and ingredient decisions. The waitress really seemed to know her stuff when it comes to wine, and recommended a big bottle. We were told that there was a recent shift in the focus of the kitchen that now inspired more middle-easts, but with a spin and local products. Everything in a casual and unforgettable night!
A delightful dinner service with classic French cuisine, modernized with some Quebec touches. The dining area is welcoming that domestic meets industry. Our server was very polite and patient to explain the menu in detail in English. Food supplies full, is nicely prepared and delicious!
We had a fantastic dinner here at our first night in Quebec. Our first course was the large mixed laundry plate. I have a great appetite, but there is so much food in this dish that I would not recommend it for a party of two, but for 4 or more it would be the perfect size. Smaller version of this plate is available for half price. All cheeses (soft and hard) come from Quebec. The mixture of terrine, pates and dry sausage was very delicious. There were also the most amazing tasting pickles I ever had, which were served together with this dish. For our second course we chose two dishes from the small plate area of the menu. We ordered the mussel salad and duck heart dishes. Duck hearts were served with mushrooms, artichokes and an amazing bone marrow sauce, which was so good we decided to come back for our last meal a few days later. Our second meal was just as good with menu with slight variations. Our first meal was on a quiet week night during the second on a busy Friday night. I recommend a reservation. We sat at a table for both meals, but you have a chance to sit at the bar overlooking an open kitchen and watch how the cook performs her magic. For our second meal we went to share with the smaller mixed charcuterie platter and 3 small dishes, including again the ducks hearts. We also ordered the smoked trout about bread pudding dish, which was very interesting and reminded us of a rag and cream cheese bagel. The highlight of the night was the bounty dish, the blood sausage and a sausage filled with lobster in a spicy sauce. Both meals were so good. This is one of the best restaurants I had the pleasure of eating anywhere in the world.
