L'Affaire Est Ketchup - Québec

When I was looking for a weekend course for quebec city, my wife and I decided to make it a weekend trip. I learn, she looks and then we enjoy old quebec I had not visited. 15 years? when I thought about where I would like to go for a nice meal in the city, I thought back to an old parts unknown episode where anthony bourdain was in quebec and visited L’Affaire est ketchup – a unique restaurant that seemed to be very cool things to do. I have always looked at my list, so this seemed like a good opportunity to finally try it.

It's amazing. this place is characterized by oozing, and had by far the best meal we ate during in quebec city. an experience.

This tiny 8 table restaurant had a lot to live, and the expectations were high after it was seen on parts unknown. it lived more than until his well-deserved call we started with champignons, esturgeon fumé and the tataki design bison. they were all excellent the bison slightly lined and served with a beautiful aioli and light salat, while the sturgeon was fantastic fat and salty, and accompanied by an excellent cheese and waterdress for the net, I enjoyed the lamb bell, served on a selection of roasted sweets, including carrots, Brussels spirouts, and roasted pure it was phenomenal one of the best dishes I...read more

I can't even start with this place. super easy with the reservation, cute unpretentious place down at the end of st. roch. from the moment when we were treated like family, our server, who spoke excellent English, went out of his way to ensure that our friend with a serious allergy would feel comfortable eating there, which is so difficult in a small resto. he brought through the menu and described everything on him really well on his recomendation I had the quail that was fantastic, it is so rare that the appertiser is the star shot. he gave us great reize about eating and drinking local beer. Such an amazing place! The staff were such nice guys and really cared about our experience. The scallops on a bed of boudin and mushroom dish are to die for and the products are so fresh!! Love it
