Le Champlain Fairmont Château Frontenac

Since the restaurant was booked for New Year's Eve...room service it was!! What a blessing in disguise! We had personalized service of Julie who set up the entire meal, opened the wine to ensure that we approved, made us comfortable, and was simply great in the whole area. My husband had the beef fillet, I had Spaghetti Carbonara, and we separated a Queen Elizabeth cake and a bottle of Cabernet. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. We enjoyed the Champlain food in the comfort of our room at Frontenac. I will mention... there is a limited menu when you order room service, but there are still many great options.

Excellent meal! We really enjoyed the tasting menu with all locally sourced ingredients. Such a wonderful opportunity to try new things we don’t often (ever) get at home (Florida). Our table was on the finished patio room, the restaurant was warm and inviting, service and the food were great and the ambiance of the snowstorm was perfect!

We did the 5 courses tasting. Service is good. All dishes are delicious but not out of this world delicious. I loved the Wagu and dessert. Don’t care much about the others

This was an underwhelming experience. For such a fine dining experience and atmosphere and not to mention the hefty price tag, the expectations were sky high. Sadly, they were not met. The food was good but not exceptional in any way, the meal took far too long to complete and at the end of it all we were still hungry!

Not our first visit and certainly not our last. we love the vibe, eating, drinks and service.
