Queanbeyan Leagues Club

We used to frequent the club in the 90's and it has changed a lot since then. It seems to be all poker machines now, and if playing them and wanting a drink, it is such a long way to the bar that it seems too much bother. We didn't dine there, but it used to be a good meal.

I dined here on Monday 1st May and was disgusted with both the quality of the meal and choice of menu. My mother ordered the battered fish which was totally inedible. The batter was so hard and the fish dried out. She could not eat the vegetables as they were too hard (not cooked enough). She did not want to kick up a fuss and complain. I noticed another patron at the next table take his fish back and get a refund. He almost cracked the plate hitting the fish on the side of it! The meals at this club have gone down hill over the last few years and are an embarrassment for this club.

Basic pub fare at reasonable prices. Very generous portions, in fact to much for us. Plenty of room for people to eat without being too close to the next table. Food was well presented and nicely cooked.

Staff were very friendly, the food was decent quality and big portions. Everyone had plenty to eat and were happy with the food,

Went here for dinner with the kids. There is a great kids play area. The food came out really quick and it tasted amazing. I had the pasta cabonarra it was 10/10. Kids had chicked tenders they looked great. Atmosphere was great and staff were friendly.
