Raststaette Walensee Ag - Quarten

This a nice rest stop on the way to eastern Switzerland where you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain view and the lake while having a brunch at the restaurant. There's also a small playground for kids to enjoy playing and a fuel station.

Small portions. Vegetables and chicken were frozen and pre made. Spaghetti would feed a small child It’s a truck stop but still had to pay 45 CHF for a meal for two Asked for tap water which is supposed to be free but we were charged 2CHF each which came warm and cloudy We were told free water was in a shot glass. 1 oz each Still had to pay for using the bathroom. How are customers supposed to prevent the spread of diseases and viruses is they can’t wash their hands before they eat unless they pay I’m surprised they didn’t charge us extra to sit on a chair or the oxygen we used while we were there

Spectacular views of the lake below and the mountains from the dining area. Unusually for a motorway stopping place, table service. Good espresso and apfelsaft gespritzt.
