Restaurante a Barca - Quarteira

Really nice fresh fish, we all picked out the fish from display. Meal for with wine and beer Restaurant has a neighbourhood feel to it and the service was excellent

We arrived late into the resort and wanted a good restaurant local to hotel to eat. Our taxi driver recommended A Barca he stopped and booked us a table on route to the hotel, and then dropped us back to the restaurant around we...were recommend a bottle of red and a Rosie wine both were reasonably priced and very pleasant we were given free olives bread and fish to sample prior to our main. They had kept the kitchen open specially for us, all four meals were fresh and throughly enjoyed, we left the restaurant after midnight being the only people left after The staff were pleasant and we throughly enjoyed our first evening in resort

Excellent fresh fish and seafood beautifully prepared in a portuguese typical way. The steaks and pork dishes are first rate too. Had the coconut cake for desert and it was delicious and not too rich. You can't get any better than that quality wise, and...if you take in consideration the prices, this place is an absolute find. Hope it stays this wonderful always, and we hope to go back many times

Pedimos o prato do dia (peixe espada frito) e vieram 3 postinhas do tamanho de 2 dedos. Fracas porções para o preço. Não recomendo.

Viemos de novo à Barca e, claro, comemos peixe. Mais uma vez na super aprazível esplanada nas traseiras do restaurante comemos as tradicionais e boas sardinhas e um muito bom peixe à marinheiro. Destaque para a simpatia do dono, que veio trazer umas sardinhas pequeninas, "para abrir o apetite" segundo as suas palavras, e mais tarde a perguntar se estava tudo bem e a querer trazer ainda mais sardinhas, o que recusamos, pois o funcionário (também super simpático e educado) já o tinha feito. Na variada escolha de sobremesas, 'fomos' desta vez pelo pudim que correspondeu às expectativas.
