Qualicum Sushi - Qualicum Beach

We have been dining at Qualicum Sushi for many years and have always enjoyed their delicious food and top-notch service. Despite the busy atmosphere due to COVID, we never had to wait too long for our food. We dine here at least once a week! The only thing we wish is that the sashimi pieces were a bit bigger, but overall, the rolls and nigiri are fantastic.

I ordered a variety of dishes for my meal. The Soba noodles were disappointing, lacking texture and flavor. The rolling sushi lacked character and each type tasted similar. Nothing tasted especially fresh. I have been eating sushi for 40 years and unfortunately this meal was one of the worst. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad night or during a transition between chefs.

I had an amazing lunch today at Qualicum Sushi. The food was absolutely delicious - the best sushi in the Oceanside area!

A late lunch. the place was not busy, but picked up as we ate. the service was very attentive, but not intrusive. we had both special bento boxes and were very satisfied. I think they have been refurbished lately as it seemed quite fresh and clean. bets not with sushi on the lower mainland, but rather quite good for qualicum beach. much better than before in parksville.

We have had both take out and table service here. The food is excellent. Well prepared and fresh. The service is fast and friendly and the restaurant a welcoming relaxed space. The best Japanese food in Qualicum.
