China House has been my exclusive source of Chinese food a awhile now. .. I find their food fresh,tasty and plentiful!!

Very likely my 50th order from China House within a few miles of my New London home (not to be confused with the similarly named, lesser quality establishment IN New London. Expertly grilled ribs and orange chicken are my meaty pleasures while the steamed Green Jade w /chicken supplies crisp, much needed vegetables. Their food is consistently delicious.

We got the fried chicken appetizers which is just slim chicken strips in dough batter. The chicken fried rice was tasteless, bland and had some onions, Spring onions, chicken and rice in it. The hot and sour tofu soup was the only item that was tasty.

I usually never have anything bad to say about this place but last night I was really disappointed. My general tso combo meal came with fried rice that was totally burnt. Black! And it tasted awful. It made the chicken taste bad too. We got beef teriyaki appetizer and it was very chewy and had an almost filmy layer of sauce on it. The dumplings were great! And the egg roll was good. I wouldn't judge this place on this one time because I have always been happy with them. But last night was not good.

Very very good Chinese. The plates are always hot and tasty. A go to for great food
