Yōu Jì の Guó Wǔ Chéng Mù Shí Shì Chǔ やまゆり

The restaurant was already closed when I visited, but next time I want to try the "damako nabe" and "strawberry soft serve ice cream". There is a small pond in the back with frogs and crayfish. I saw a family catching bugs on a walking path, but there was a sign nearby warning about bears, so it was a little scary. The local hero of Akita, "Nager", speaks from a vending machine, which is also interesting. They also have electric car charging available.

I had the Damako Nabe set meal. In addition to Hitachi local chicken thigh meat, there were also kinkan and liver, all with a flavorful broth. As a service, rice is also included for those who want it, but with six large damako balls, it is quite a substantial portion. It is not a meal that is cooked while eating, but it remained hot until the end.

This place is known for their Dama rice cakes and Kiwi Strawberry soft serve. The restroom is clean with a washlet. Behind the building is a promenade where you can take a 10-20 minute walk around. The large Japanese maple tree is a symbol, and it's recommended to visit during the autumn when the leaves change color and flowers bloom.
