On a sunny sydney afternoon this place is hard to beat. sit on the dach terrace that throws the day away with a Wednesday Steak sandwich specialties and a beer. the personal is really friendly. child-friendly menu also.

This place is my most favourite spot in Sydney to eat, drink and be merry. I fell in love with this place six years ago and when I’m on holiday from Adelaide I visit this pub almost daily. I even have a framed photo of...the inside of the pub that hangs on my lounge room wall. I love the food. Generous and well seasoned so you don’t need salt and pepper is a sign of an excellent chef. Bravo my friend. But I’m afraid my love affair with this place is over after I asked a bartender to purchase a PBH schooner glass to take home and put with my previously purchased wine glass. The lazy, patronising wannabe hipster bartender (you know who you are) told me that they weren’t for sale. I asked him why not? To which he said with his back turned, that we just don’t. I said that l had purchased a wine glass the last time l was there. To which he replied. We don’t sell them either. I said you do because I have one. To which he replied with little thought or interest. We don’t sell them and it’s not on my till list so tough luck. So l must be imagining that l own the wine glass that l regularly use at home? Shame on you buddy. You just lost a family of loyal customers. What a great boost you are to attracting interstate visitors. And you need a haircut and to tidy up your attitude mate.

Quite average, not great not bad but I suppose primarily been a pub you pay for what you get, drinks were good but the food was just standard food neither here nor there

Staff are not really that helpful feels like they don’t enjoy what they are doing. Very confusing structure. Should have been a great night with the view but no!
