High grade ingredients, coupled with classic recipes and imaginative plating in a wide open space setting provides for a momentous dining experience. Accompanied with coconut ice cream
Hands down one of the best Thai places I've been to by far. The cutest interior with a monkey as their motif, this restaurant has cute pop figurines cleverly placed, making for something interesting to look at. Their pork belly fried rice is something you have to order off the menu. Made in house, it's tender texture and juicyness just makes you want to keep eating until you explode. Each savoury dish, bursting with mouth watering flavours you can't help but polish the plate off. Their newly added dessert, lychee flavoured pana cotta also hit the spot. I'm a big fan of lychee so for me, this topped the meal off well. The service was exceptional - Sutee and Suweena were absolutely lovely. By far the friendliest and most attentive staff we've met. Definitely one to recommend to family and friends. With lots of parking close by, it's easy to get to. One to add to the bucket list if you haven't already been.
This restaurant is located near Pyrmont and Bunn Sts. The interior is decorated with a mural of monkeys and exudes cheekiness. There is a stuffed monkey in another corner. Their aim is Thai cuisine with a modern twist. It was evident on the last page of the menu showcasing pasta with Thai flavours. It has only been open for 6 months but sure it will be a local favourite. Our feast begun with Duck Pancake and Curry Puffs. Whilst the curry puffs were your traditional type with vegetables inside and a crunchy exterior, the pancake was something different we hadn't tried before. It was like a fluffy crepe mixture wrapped around duck and it was very tasty. The mains included Ginger which was stir fried chicken with ginger and black fungus. The ginger was definitely evident in this dish and really enjoyed the different mushrooms in this dish. We also had Khor Moo Yang which was a grilled pork neck with chilli and garlic. The spice level wasn't too bad and had a slow afterburn rather than a smack in the face type of heat. The last main was a special of Osso Buco In A Green Curry. The meat was tender and the curry wasn't too bad hot as it was tempered with coconut milk. Extra rice was definitely needed for this dish. Finished with a lovely Lychee Panna Cotta topped with a berry compote and served with granola, strawberries, and pomegranate. It was wobbly and enjoyed the lychee hidden within the panna cotta. A great fusion between an Italian dessert and Thai flavours. Sutee was a delightful host and very friendly.

A nice casual Thai eatery that offers good value lunch meal deals. $9.90 can get you a lovely filling dish here. During the weekend this place turns into a cafe. The quirky interior deco with monkeys and banana is quite uplifting. weekendnotes.com
