Blue Eye Dragon - Pyrmont

I had my mums 60th surprise birthday dinner at Blue Eye Dragon. Muriel and Ken were amazing to work with in planing the dinner. They were very accommodating and I seriously appreciate it. The food was delicious! So vibrant in taste and the serving size is quite generous for the money you pay. I had 40 guests so we got the 10 course set menu at $68 per person. Everyone enjoyed the food and they started to get full after the 5/6 entrees. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, and intimate. They're perfect for dates or for groups. The restaurant also serves as an art gallery. They display beautiful artwork on the walls. I had such a lovely experience that I am adding this restaurant to my regular venues for dinner near the star Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options! Also very delicious Parking: Depending on the day, there is street parking available. There is also parking underneath the star. If you're a member parking is free after earning some points on your card. If not then I think it's a flat rate of $252on a Thursday night Kid-friendliness: Muriel knows how to handle toddlers chucking a tantrum!

We had a banquet B for 3, $78 per person, absolutely the BEST way to get a real taste of their amazing dishes! The best of the best. And a very reasonable price for what we got! Not your normal Chinese Restaurant, a Taiwanese Restaurant! Beef Pancake Rolls, Crispy Chicken, Spring Rolls, Pork Dumplings, Mains: Ginger Shallot Chicken with Vegie, Beef Eye Fillet. The dishes came thick and fast, so very tasty, my favourite was the Beef Eye Fillet, pork dumplings. Just up the hill from the Star Casino rear entrance. Parking not really a problem but we were staying in a local hotel and didn 't have to make the trek into town so a drive in and search for a park at peak hour might be a trauma! It 's an old converted church hall with ceiling fans, could get hot but we were comfortable. Comfy chairs, really really friendly waitstaff and servers. They explained the menu very well, very polite, friendly service, food arrived hot. We 'll be back. Vegetarian options: Very well catered for Dietary restrictions: Cater for everything Parking: Tricky to find parking especially near the Casino. Plan to be a lot early or just give up and park in a parking station!!

Blue Eye Dragon is our go to place for any celebration but we will use any excuse to go there! We have been going there for many years, including when they were in Harris Street. The food is always superb and delicious everything is so fresh and so tasty. Service is excellent and Muriel and her team are very attentive. We would highly recommend it. Food: 5
