Contribuiți la feedbackThe recent renovations of units managed by BridgeHousing Sydney are first class. The variety of skilled trades people of all walks in life, go about theie business with such efficiency. From a Greek Cypriot refugee painter, to a team of tilers from the province in Afghanistan where Australian forces were based. The picture shows units in Camperdown Sydney. My unit is North of the Harbour.
I have lived in my unit for 17 years now and have been very happy. Since Bridge took over from FACS there has been a definite rise in customer service. In particular I have to praise Jane Smith and Asset Management Services. My unit was starting to look somewhat shabby and I spoke to our manager BJ who said she would see what could be done. This was only about the beginning of September. The query then went to Jane and she and her project manager looked at it and decided to paint it. It was a pleasure to deal with them as they were both very professional and caring. I chose the colour that I wanted and the team came in last Thursday 7th October! They were absolutely wonderful! They worked quickly and were finished by 3pm. I now have a fresh looking, modern unit. Everyone who has come here has commented on how lovely it looks. Thank you to all at Bridge.
I am not a celebrity nor am I rich with lots of money and material things. I do not stand to gain anything, nor do I wish to , by leaving an honest review of my experiences with Bridge Housing during the last 12 months that I have rented my first social housing property from them. I have nothing but praise and respect for Bridge for their caring, helpful, attentive support they have tirelessly given me so far. All the staff I have corresponded with have treated me without bias or discrimination just because I have little or no savings...I was not treated like a second-class citizen. Thank You Bridge Housing for your empathetic caring attitude that all the others seem to lack. You could've been cold, greedy, just business-like and dismissive... but you were'nt. Bridge offered me a clean, safe home in a good condition which I didn't expect, but for which I was very pleased with. Any repairs that needed doing were fixed pretty quickly by their excellent repair team. I am thankful and very grateful for what I have been given by Bridge. They have tried hard, and succeeded, in giving me a good home. Without them, I would be really struggling and in a bad place trying to make ends meet ! Thank you Bridge Housing for your good hand of support. May you flourish and prosper long into the future. PK
Beautiful and friendly staff that are always willing to help and give assistance when you need it. Housing managers are always lovely to deal with and are always willing to help when you have an inquiry on the phone or when you attend the office. The repairs team are also really quick to get an issue raised with the contractor. Amazing customer service, highly recommend this service to those who need it.
Baraka recently opened in the space previously occupied by the very popular Pyrama (which closed last year). Baraka is a pop-up and offers dinner Wed-Sat nights (now you have to book in advance as it is so popular). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with the front of house staff extremely professional and friendly. Faruk the chef and owner personally attends to each able to welcome you to his restaurant and explains the food- how good is that!We have been to Baraka twice in three weeks and each time it has been a fantastic experience. There is a great set menu for about $65 a person or a-la-carte.Last Saturday we had:•Fresh spelt bread•Caramelised beetroot & labna with Turkish chili•Falafel-spiced Brussels Sprouts with tahini•Red cabbage salad with shanklish and Turkish apricotsAnd the roast lamb shoulder. It was so delicious and the lamb just fell from the bone and melted in your mouth.By 8 pm the place was full and a number of walk ins were turned away as it has become so well patronized by locals. The service was efficient, professional and informative. Well done to Faruk and his team. I hope that he can stay for a long time and not just a short time.
