Shari's Cafe Pies - Puyallup

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic. The chefs are skilled at their craft and the servers are always friendly and attentive. It's a shame that fewer people are visiting establishments like this. If you enjoy classic American cuisine, Shari's is the place to go.

The food was excellent, the customer service was top-notch, and the pies were delicious! I dined with my family of five and we spent $130.

I went to the restaurant with my three children to have a meal because I had a voucher on my Sheries app for two free meals. My children ordered burgers, while I opted for the prime dip. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my choice as I received dry meat in a bun that was quite bland. The dipping sauce had spilled onto my plate and the fries were mediocre. It seemed like the meal had been sitting around for a while. The waiter checked on us once during our meal and brought extra napkins when requested, but failed to refill our drinks. When it came time to pay, I was only allowed to use one voucher for the meal, not the one for a discounted pie I wanted to take home. I later realized that as a military member, I could have received a discount. My daughter mentioned that she remembered Sheries from when she was younger and felt that the quality had declined significantly. I had to agree, especially considering the high prices.

It was my first time at Shari’s and it was exactly what I expected it to be. Big plates of greasy comfort food. We all need this once in a while! I was happy that there was avocado with the veggie omelette. My omelette was undercooked though. I enjoyed the hash browns and regretted not getting the stuffed ones as those looked really good. It was nice to be able to have pancakes instead of toast unfortunately I had no room for them at the end. The coffee was very weak. The service was quick and friendly. I haven’t had a chance to try their pie. I would come back for that!

For a chain location, the atmosphere and food were ok. I do remember pride loyalty was #1 but now it's not so good..I would stop there again someday.
