Contribuiți la feedbackBoco has created a new restaurant concept. It's developing rapidly and you can find now 6 Boco in Paris region. In La Defense district it's located near Esplanade metro station. I sat once on the large terrace down Ariane building. Inside the country style restaurant I picked 3 jars : mushy peas, shepherd's pie and a compote, all created by chefs. It's innovative, trendy, handy, cosy, friendly.
Nice innovative and great concept. Yes it is on the expensive side. But you get value for money. Go there nearly every day when I'm in La Defense. Food always super fresh. Like the juices too. Recommend!
All the dishes we chose were definitely well prepared, tasty with quality ingredients. The set-up of the place is conveniently arranged for lunch meetings. However, the price tag is a bit high in my opinion and their should be more flexible menu options.
Boca La defense is fine for a quick bite or lunch. I guess mayn who break for lunch use the take awqy option. I had a sandwich which was fine, however prices are very high, even above London which surprised me a bid
This restaurant is very different from most you will find. It's a fast-food concept, but with quality meals, and everything os served in "bocaux," or glass jars/bowls. You just pick out what you want from the refrigerated shelves, and the staff heats what's supposed to be heated. You pick your drinks the same way. There are apparently several other locations in the Paris area.I thought the food was okay, but the selection was pretty picked over by the time we got there at 1:30. This could be because in this business-centered location, everybody eats at the same time. Plus, although we wanted the "special" with an entrée and a main dish at 14 Euros, we found out that not all the entrées and main dishes qualified for the special, and it was impossible to tell which ones did. So most of us went for what we wanted at a higher price. I ended up paying 22+ Euros for my lunch. My suggestion would be to separate out the qualifying "special" dishes to a different cabinet, or just let all the dishes count under the "special" price. The food was okay though - perhaps it's better at other locations - and the sorbet was amazing. An interesting change of pace for sure.
