However, they had an open mic night featuring a rock/reggae band called 'Jam side up'. They were fantastic, playing Bob Marley covers and their own music. The pub is small with a small beer garden in the front. I think on a weekday evening, this pub would be a nice place to enjoy a cheap pint.
I have only been to Jolly's for their open mic nights, so I cannot speak to what it is like on a regular school night or the weekend. However, I have found it to be a very laid-back and friendly bar. It is a local spot that doesn't have the aggressive atmosphere that some other out-of-the-way places do. The prices are reasonable, with a house double vodka and mixer costing under £5. The music is also quite good, with frequent music events creating a lively atmosphere. Just be aware that they stop serving Sunday lunch early and there are limited food options in the area. I had to make do with crisps and nuts last time, which was not ideal for my plan to drink a lot. If you are in the area or enjoy open mic nights, Jolly's is worth a visit. However, I would not recommend going out of your way to check it out.
This restaurant serves incredible Indian food. Don't be fooled by its pub exterior, the menu offers a delightful surprise with flavorful dishes. The team was friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
Make them a great job at Covid-19, and beautiful garden.
