Sweet Frog - Purcellville

An incredible frozen yogurt shop with wonderfully friendly staff! I arrived just after closing time, around 8:05 PM, but they not only served me, they also treated me to a complimentary frozen yogurt. I'm not sure what I did to earn such kindness, but I'm truly thankful for their generosity. Thank you, Sweet Frog!

Delicious yogurt with a huge variety of flavors and toppings. I always go on Wednesday?s because they have a flat rate. Staff is nice at the register but looks bored otherwise (can?t blame them). Better than a Yogurt Land or Fro-Yo. The only suggestion I would have is to update Google maps if the store is closed. I walked over one time in the snow (I don?t have a car and live nearby) only to find out it was closed. Google maps said it was open so I assumed it was. It?s really easy to change if it?s open or not. Edit: The opening hours are fixed! Yay! Again, this place is the best for satisfying a sweet tooth. Edit 3/19/21: still AMAZING customer service. Every time I go here the employees are so kind. I swear they just transfer over from CFA or something. Kinda bummed the prices for Wednesday?s went up but I understand.

Third time in a row we've driven to SF from Lovettsville with kids wanting to go and the place bring closed with a sign on the door. Two times before it was supposed to be open till 9 but we were there at 7:45 and then 8:00. Today it was 5 pm. All of their online stuff shows them as being open for business at these times.

My kids really enjoy this place, but we don’t visit often because it’s quite pricey. Recently, my daughter was thrilled that we had some coupons. Unfortunately, the woman at the register refused to apply the discounts because she didn’t take the time to read them thoroughly. She kept only applying a partial discount. Eventually, I had to approach her multiple times to explain the discount because she wouldn’t read it. Even one of the other employees found her explanation confusing. She nearly overcharged us by $10! When I pointed this out, her excuse was that she just wanted to go home. While I feel for her situation, it’s frustrating for us as well. This seems to be a recurring issue, and it may be that they are overworking their staff. It's disappointing, and in the future, I think I’ll take my kids to a different location.

I've typically had a great experience with customer service here, and the frozen yogurt is delicious. However, during my visit tonight, we arrived just five minutes before closing. Unfortunately, all the toppings were put away, and one of the female staff members was quite rude. Thankfully, a male employee came out from the back after noticing the situation and provided much better service, which I really appreciated. Having worked in customer service myself, I understand the difference between minimum acceptable service and excellent service. The female employee's behavior fell well short of expectations, while the male employee was fantastic. I usually have excellent service here, but this one experience left an unfortunate impression.
