Contribuiți la feedbackUpon arriving at 1:30 PM, we were informed there would be a wait of around 45 minutes to an hour. We thought that was manageable and decided to enjoy the scenery while we waited. Almost an hour later, a large table that could accommodate us became available, but the server didn’t inform us. When we approached to ask about it, we received a vague response about being busy and that they would seat us soon. After more time passed, the server finally approached us to say they were out of scones and would reduce our charge to $10 per person since they could only offer cookies and ice cream. We were fine with that; we just wanted to sit down, especially since it was hot and my elderly mother can't handle the heat for long. The server mentioned they would seat us at the open six-person table shortly, but she wanted to wait until things calmed down. We didn’t understand why they were prolonging our wait when the table was available. About 15 minutes later, a couple who arrived after us sat down at the six-person table we were supposed to occupy. It felt quite unfair. Shortly afterward, another six-person table nearby opened up, and after it was cleared, it remained empty for ten minutes while we continued to wait. We had been standing around for 90 minutes at that point. Suddenly, a group that arrived about 20 minutes after us was seated at that table. Feeling defeated, we started looking for a place that would provide actual service (by the way, Monk's BBQ in Purcellville is fantastic). Just then, the server had the nerve to come over and say she could seat us, but we would have to be split up. There was no apology or acknowledgment of their multiple mistakes. We decided against it and chose to take our money elsewhere. Blooming Hill, we understand that you don’t hold tea events often, but you need to address your customer service issues before your next one. This was an utter waste of our time, and we won’t be returning in the future, not even for a sprig of lavender.
The lavender farm is absolutely stunning! We participated in a yoga class and enjoyed some tea afterward. The iced and hot teas were both delicious!
A great way to unwind and enjoy an afternoon with friends. The $3 entrance fee is definitely worth it.
I had a great day trip with friends! The lavender fields and scenery were stunning. The little shop offered charming items, various teas for sale, and delicious lavender gelato. It was a lovely outing.
