Dylan's Restaurant Barn - Purbeck

This cafe is no longer located at this address and is now closed. Dylan's has been replaced by The Cowshed, with new operators and a renovated space at the same location. It is definitely worth a visit, but keep in mind that Dylan's is no longer in business.

The restaurant provides excellent service with fabulous food and great customer service. The staff is friendly and the establishment is spotlessly clean, bright, and airy.

I always make sure to stop at this restaurant during my bike rides. Today, we sat in the courtyard, which is the outdoor seating area, under the full sun. We started with some coffee in the late morning and came back for lunch later. There are very few pubs in the area that offer light bites or sandwiches. My husband loved his tuna mayo baguette, and I treated myself to a bacon and brie baguette. The bacon was of great quality, and the brie was perfectly soft. It was an excellent lunch. This little cafe serves delicious food at affordable prices.

Great food, however disappointed that we went for Sunday dinner and was told no roast dinners unless you reserve a table. Would be useful to put notice on door and website explaining this.

Stayed at the campsite next door and popped in here for breakfast. Not a lot to say other than a great British breakfast cooked to perfection!
