Cauldron Bistro - Purbeck

This breakfast is the best I've ever had. It's very family-friendly with excellent service and food.

I have only visited this restaurant twice, but I highly recommend the corned beef hash. There are other items on the menu that I have not tried yet, but I am looking forward to trying them in the future.

Always a fantastic meal at this charming and unique bistro. Swanage's best dining spot for sure!

This is not just dinner..it's an experience. We were lucky.. a cancellation meant we could share what Margaret and Terry have to offer. Presented with my own jar of Terry's chilli sauce, without requesting it, sampling Margaret's Negroni and then the best turbot I've ever eaten.Maybe these reviews veer from one extreme to another because we no longer know what it's like to dine in an establishment staffed solely by two proud owners who are proud of what they offer their guests. Without doubt the most arrogant owner i have ever come across, i remember coming in here with my girlfriend and seeing on spare table as i entered i was approached by an smarmy looking peroxide blonde, she didnt say anything so i asked is it still open; the answer was astonishing!!!i don't know she said so i asked can you check with the manager or whoever she replied i am the manager and i decide if i am open!!! something no quite right here, but for sure the name the cauldron was most appropriate so we beat a hasty retreat but had nightmares later of three evil witches cooking up a meal for me A La Macbeth
