Soda Jacó Rústico - Puntarenas

The vibe was very local. We were hesitant to try this place at first but the food was delicious and overall a very authentic Costa Rican experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Costa Rican food.

Traditional costa rican food. very good for the price. not really sure how the whole thing works, but know enough spanish to say quiero arroz, frijoles, carne y ensalada por favor. that failing, point and nod. they’re very nice

No thrills delicious home cooked meals, great value for (little) money. Friendly staff, clean and obviously a place many locals enjoy a meal here too.

Delicious, quick, and truly hit the spot when our family of 6 was looking for a place to eat. There were many people there, which is always a good sign! Would highly recommend for an all around solid meal with not too high of a price tag.

This place is nothing fancy; just home cooked greatness in every bite. My family of four ventured off to this spot after reading the reviews here on Trip Advisor. I’ve never tasted the lightness of this type of fried chicken. It was incredible. The best part is that my family of four ate for $26 US dollars. We needed a wheel barrel to leave because we were so stuffed. While staying at the Marriott has its perks, every meal doesn’t need to cost $100+ while on vacation. This was way better than any meal at some of the fancier over priced places in Costa Rica.
