Wendy's - Punta Gorda

Bless their hearts so kind and busy. My friend has lots of instruction for the poor drive thru team. I'm easy #6 with a coke. She's #13 ketchup packets, cut my sandwich in half, ice cream, etc. The cars were lined up behind us, and they filled her everyrequest. Clearly short staffed. My meal was good, spicy chicken meal. Hit the spot. Thanks Wendys team for your patience withspecial requests.

While ordering at the drive-thru, the girl taking the order began making rude comments while I was ordering. It almost seemed as if she thought her microphone was off but I could clearly hear her. She did it several times. Then to top it all off, it tookwell over 15 minutes to get our food that was cold. We asked if we could get hot fries and the same girl with the microphonesaid no that they were closed. I have no idea where management was. Behavior like this is a direct result of the lack ofmanagement and or leadership in that restaurant. Too bad. There are too many places that respect their customers to ever have tocome back to this place and be disrespected.

Typically, the staff at this restaurant hasn't impressed us during our visits. However, last night, they were all exceptionally hardworking, polite, and professional—except for one girl who was walking around chewing with her mouth open right next to the food. It was both disgusting and disturbing. She definitely needs to be retrained or let go. On a positive note, everyone else performed excellently. The young man making the sandwiches was particularly diligent and dedicated, while the woman managing the refrigerator was extremely efficient.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. After waiting 18 minutes in line, I received broken, small scraps of French fries, and the chicken nuggets were so overcooked that they were nearly impossible to bite into. The burger was overwhelmed with mustard, to the point where it was the only flavor you could discern. I felt like my time and money were completely wasted; I was so let down. This was meant to be a treat, but it turned out to be terrible. I won't be returning again. I spent $5 and 20 minutes for a meal that was truly disappointing. I used to love this place, but now it was just awful.

This Wendy's location is extremely clean and has a nostalgic vibe. The food is exceptional, especially their famous juicy hamburgers. I really loved their hot, salty fries paired with the deliciously sweet strawberry Frosty. It's the perfect treat on a hot summer day! The combination of sweet and salty is just fantastic!
