Piknik Yeri - Punta Gorda

The food was really good and a great atmosphere outside on the 2nd floor covered deck looking out at the marina. We requested a seat outside and were accommodated. The portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price at lunch. the service was great.

Good food and a lot of choices. Server seemed a little rushed and it was not busy. She was pleasant though. The She Crab soup was not the traditional She Crab. Thin and a lot of red peppers. Lots of crab but not what I ordered. I will definitely eat here again.

Food was ok. I ordered cole slaw with my fish tacos and got fries instead. Portions are a bit on the skimpy side but the quality was good. The waitress was very good. No problem parking.

Last time I made a reservation, the hostess took us to a table in the bar area and I asked to sit in the restaurant. She did so but seemed put out that I would even suggest such a thing. This time, same thing. Is that their default move, fill up the bar area first? Why?

Laishley's is such a fun place to meet friends! Right on the water with such lovely views. Highly recommend and it's great since you can make reservations for lunch and dinner!
