Elena's - Punta Gorda

I love this place! A rather recent discovery but everything I've had has been OUTSTANDING and everything I've seen in front of other diners has looked outstanding as well. I've had the lasagna w/ meatballs multiple times always delicious and made justhow I like it a big, thick slab that doesn't have a thick layer of ricotta as filler. The open face turkey is awesome andenough for two meals for me as is true with everything else I've eaten or seen including the burritos! YUM! Also, all of theemployees have been absolutely fantastic!!!

I recently dined at this restaurant and it was my first time there. While the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired. My daughter ordered an omelet that was quite dry, and her pancakes tasted like they were frozen. I had eggs Benedict, but unfortunately, the Hollandaise sauce tasted like nacho cheese – definitely the worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. The potatoes that came with it were also very dry. For breakfast, the total was $55, which I found to be quite overpriced given the quality. We live in the area and wouldn’t return, but if you’re visiting from out of town, I recommend checking out the many better breakfast options available in Port Charlotte. On a positive note, the service was commendable.

We absolutely love Elena's! Whenever we visit my dad, we make sure to eat here every morning. It's his favorite spot, and he's been having breakfast here daily for the past few years. The food is incredible, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is outstanding—just like family! If you're ever in Punta Gorda, you definitely shouldn't miss this place. We can't recommend it enough!

I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s a relatively new find for me, but everything I’ve tried has been outstanding. What I saw being served to other diners also looked delicious. I had the lasagna with meatballs, which was consistently delicious, and I appreciate that it’s served on a generous, thick plate without a hefty layer of ricotta as a filler. The open-faced turkey dish is a brilliant concept and provides more than enough for two meals. Everything I've tried or seen, including the burritos, has been fantastic! Plus, all the staff were incredibly wonderful!
