Dreams Onyx Resort - Punta Cana

Great place. I was several times and I'll go on. I always book the private pool rooms as it only adds the experience. The adult only pool is great, but the servers around the pool are what really distinguishes it. The entire property is kept immaculate and the staff really feel like home. If you have any problems, they bend backwards to make it right.

I loved many things about this resort. We went for a family wedding and stayed extra days to make it a family holiday. We stayed on the Onyx page, which looked after families. The breathless side is only adults. It also has a nightclub and a small casino that our younger family members visited a few nights. The beach, several pools and most restaurants were really good! The breakfast buffet at the carnival is fabulous with sea view when you sit on the deck area that we made every day! The only complaint I have is the resort house red and white wines were not the biggest. We prefer wine and champagne. Some were a small percentage and you could consume several glasses and not get a Buzz. there were also some of us sodburns regularly. I think we need to upgrade to the preferred status to get better wines. Most of the family always ended mixed drinks with additional recordings of rum or vodka..

Great resort overall. Although it was busy, it never felt crowded. They did an excellent job to keep the beaches neat. The reasons were also generally impeccable. The food was as expected with the restaurants that all make a small menu, but the realization of what was good there. Service in the restaurants was excellent, outside the restaurants it was mostly good, but had forgotten a few long waiting times and an order on the beach. Nightly Entertainment was surprisingly good the Rock Show singer was pretty good. All the pools were in excellent form and the small water park kept the whole family entertained for a good half day. If you are looking for a newer family-friendly, high-quality resort, this is an excellent choice. Not so cheap, but you get what you pay.

This place is one of the highest ratings in the area. I've been here a long time. If you choose this place, you will definitely not be disappointed. The experience at this resort was worth the entrance fee! The restaurants are great, and all amenities and terrain are well maintained. Staff are all amazing, with the best Juan at the Carnival International Buffet. He made better every day with his contagious positivity. The beaches are beautiful and many activities for the children.

Dreams onyx was perfect. Travelled with family, 5 young adults with our parents. Even though it was a family friendly resort there were not a ton of children and the preferred area with our kids were very nice. The food was wonderful with many options. We have a vegetarian in the group and she had options. We had a private pool room-5192 that was at the back of the preferred area and a nice links between the restaurants and the pool.
