Beautiful little spot on an ~300 acre farm. Very clean apartment/motel room, that has all the necessities. An excellent stopping point on your way from one coast to the other through Lewis Pass.

We had a pleasant stay at the Lewis Pass Motel. It's on a working farm and the family that runs the place was so sweet. The location is gorgeous, and the cost is reasonable. The suite we stayed in was very clean and spacious. Sunrise was incredible looking at the mountains. Bring your own food, as not much is nearby.

Our stay at the Lewis Pass Motel was a welcome respite during our journey from West Coast to East Coast. The natural surroundings were peaceful and free of any urban distractions and noise, which made a wonderful location for a stopover. Highly recommended

Wow, this place is exceptional! We have been cycle touring around NZ for the last 6 weeks and this has got to be one of our favourite overnight stops. Liz met us as soon as we rolled up and could not have been more welcoming. The large rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. There are the nice touches (like M&M's sweeties for the guests) but what really makes this place so special is the peacefulness and superb views. Highly recommended!

Clean and fresh, either very well maintained or newly renovated. Well layout unit with great facilities, has stove and oven, fridge that works well, modern bathroom with shower box (keeps the bathroom dry, a big plus), very comfy beds, very quiet, great views. Great internet connection and Smart TV. Close to nice walks. Quick and easy check-in by friendly owner. Would have stayed longer if there was vacancy (stayed only one night just before Christmas) but will surely stay again (for longer if we could) if we do come this way again. Thanks heaps!
