We landed here because it was a Sunday night and two from the three restaurants at the main square of Puget-Theniers did not serve food. I say, here ended, because this place is in an unusual position between a super market and a small shopping center and in a round, if we want to be honest, is part of a parking lot. so, location is bad, although on a Sunday night it was nice and quiet. eating is really, really good, at the excellent limit! this is a small family-run operation (grandmother, mother, daughter) and it seems as if the menu consists of all the different directed mama feels comfortable preparation. they are all classic French specialties and well prepared, although they are not necessarily local. her salade nicoise was impeccable and the pizza was great. steaks and other dishes we saw served at other tables also seemed very good. desserts: excellent! weinservice was impeccable, with an honest selection and wein served at the right temperature on a very warm evening. this little restaurant would be my no1 choice in this tourist village. it is definitely worth the way when they are in the opposite.
Friendly, friendly, small and intimate, but what to eat! imaginative, fabulous aromen and very moderate price. love this place!

We ended up here because it was a Sunday night and two out of the three restaurants on the main "place" of Puget-Theniers were not serving food. I say "ended up" here because this place is at an unusual location between a supermarket and a small shopping center and basically, if we want to be honest about it, is part of a parking lot. So, location is poor, although on a Sunday evening it was nice and quiet. The food, though, is really, really good, bordering on the excellent! This is a small family-run operation (grandmother, mother, daughter) and it seems like the menu is made up of all the disparate dishes mum feels comfortable preparing. They are all classic French specialties and well-prepared, even though they are not necessarily local. Their Salade Nicoise was impeccable and the pizza was superb. Steaks and other dishes we saw served at other tables also seemed very good. Desserts: excellent! Wine service was impeccable, with an honest selection and wine served at the right temperature on a very warm evening. This small restaurant would be my No1 choice in this touristy village. It is certainly worth the detour if you are in the area.
