Had full meal consisting of suppe, appetizer, main course and dessert with 2 drinks for 550 pesos. highly recommended.

The food and the drinks were fantastic, like the decor. I made the frida’s dinner that gave me the opportunity to taste a few different items as part of my meal. I really enjoyed it. the margaritas are also delicious. it is a little out of the way to come here, but that is part of the appeal.

One of my fav Mexican dishes is chilies rellenos. the red mull came through great time. absolutely their rellenos are the best! the chiles en nogada are excellent. the traditional chilies rellenos were excellent. I can't wait to go back to try the chilies de picadillo! prices are very reasonable given the excellent quality and great portions. if you want traditional Mexican comfort food, it is worth getting there!

Holy molecular! (berry, could not resist, live in el remance for the last weeks I passed this small, very inconceivable restaurant every day. never a hard sale to try to come them, and I can see why his call speaks for itself! I think they can tell a lot about a restaurant from the quality of his home wine, and so the crisp Argentine sauvignon blanc was a good sign. I ordered the molecular poblanco, and it was excellent rich sauce, delicate chicken, fluffy rice and tasty roasted beans, accompanied by steaming hot tortillas (of which the waiter brought happy more than I ran out). the decor is fabulous (local art) and the personal was charming even to help me with my terrible spanish! I had a wonderful evening and I'm so glad I stopped. highly recommended if in pw.

If you are in Puerto Vallarta, immediately drop what you’re doing and head to the Red Cabbage Cafe. I’ve been coming to this great restaurant since it opened. Their menu features some of the most amazing traditional dishes Mexico has to offer. Family run and a fixture in Puerto Vallarta’s culinary world since 1994. Have the chiles en nogada, which are unbelievable!
