Mi Querencia - Puerto Vallarta

Walking along the Malecon in PV in August is not for the faint-of-heart. After 20 minutes we were ready to take a break and this was it. We were afraid of it being too touristy, and it was a bit, but the food was great and the value can't be beat. Their signature MOLCAJETE dish with shrimp was delicious, just the right amount of spice. Service was great. After I got home, I noticed the business name on the credit card receipt was "Baskin Robbins". Apparently there is some connection, but don't let it put you off. Bonus: We had a perfect view of the iconic PV seahorse.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el lugar para comer. Probamos los pescados zarandeado y al ajillo, porque en ese momento no tenían el huachinango frito. Sazón sencillo y muy, muy bueno. El personal es por demás atento y amable. Me sentí colmada de atenciones y salí satisfecha y agradecida con gente tan linda. Recomiendo y volveremos!

Nice restaurant in front of the beach. We loved the food. Guacamole as a side dish is highly recommended. Fajita and quesadillas were also good. Everything was simple and tasty. Mexican coffee was delicious. Service was a bit slow. We had to wait for an hour for our food. Update: we went there a second time and liked it even more. Tried veg molcajetes this time and liked it. All the veggies with cactus were great. Tamarind Margarita was too good best flavored Margarita I ever had!
