Mariscos Cisneros - Puerto Vallarta

Seafood soup is delicious , staff is very nice.

The first night was a Sunday, and there were few people--get there by 8pm and they will feed you. After 8 they close. I was after fresh fish, and the waiter suggested Mahi Mahi with garlic. It was baked to perfection, so when I cut into it the juices flowed! I hate overcooked fish. The steamed vegetables were just OK; they needed butter. Nevertheless, the food was surprisingly good, so I returned for the other thing on the menu that I like--seafood soup, This was a good as San Francisco. Fresh and loaded with various seafoods, even a crab claw. The broth was delicious. They were very happy for me to return. Being about 6 or 7 blocks inland from the Malecon the prices were reasonable. Fish filet was 200 MP, about $10, and the large bowl of soup was a couple dollars more. Fine food, and I've been to Old Town Puerto Vallarta a dozen times so this was a great find!

Excelente restaurante de mariscos, probé el caldo de mariscos y filete de pescado, hay muchas especialidades y el trato es muy cordial.

EXCELLENT! This is a very picturesque restaurant located a block of 200 in the romantic zone area. The shrimps were as incredible as the fish! A must try
