Hacienda San Angel Gourmet

Dining in Elizabeth Taylor's villa is of itself a pleasure, there is a large photo of Liz that greets you as you arrive and ascent the stairs to the open dining area with views over the city. We were made very welcome, and soon enjoyed the "iguana" martini. The menu is typical "resort food" all well prepared and with a hint of Mexico, but really the international menu that does not offend with all the standards. The food was well presented and perfectly tasty, however there was nothing outstanding. The wine list was a disappointment, with a very limited selection- perhaps everybody just drinks cocktails.However as a location for a celebration, it is hard to beat...and I can now tick "Eaten at Liz Taylors place" off the bucket listFor us this was a once off experience

Awesome views from Liz Taylor's home in PV. Food was tasty and margaritas made with chile were the best I had in PV. Waiter Fermin was a gentleman and historian. Can't wait to go back and listen to their great mariachi at 7:30pm.

Simply amazing. One of the best stakes I have ever had. The chile sauce with hoja santa was the most uniquely amazing thing I have had in a while. The meat was also very quality and deserving of a five star.

Had 7:30 pm reservations but got to the restaurant around 7 pm expecting to wait, or have a drink at the bar. However, they were able to accommodate us early. We had wonderful margaritas and a great bottle of Mexican wine. The views are incredible, and the food, service and experience was just what we hoped for. From 7:30-8:30 they have a live mariachi band which can be a bit loud for conversation, but they were excellent. After dinner, we moved to the patio where we had sipping tequila. Overall, can't wait to go back next time we are there.
