Contribuiți la feedbackOne of Puerto Vallarta's most beloved restaurants for both us expats and tourists and Snow Birds who come for the season. The owner Bruce has something for everybody with a great menu selection, although it's the meat dishes that the place is really known for .. Prime Rib, Rib Eye Steaks, Pork Chops, Pork Shanks .. ALL are EXCELLENT. A good steak isn't all that easy to come by in PV, but Bruce never fails to come up with top quality cuts, some imported from Canada. All-in-all you can't go wrong no matter what you order. He has some of the most creative dishes of any restaurant I've tried. I've live here a couple of years now and this is one of my favorite restaurants. It's also surprisingly affordably for being one of the top rated restaurants in town.
We came during restaurant week. Had a 3 course meal for right around $15US. The pork chop was tender and as big as my frickin' head. The coconut shrimp were crunchy and sweet with a tasty dipping sauce. The owner and staff are super friendly and take good care of their patrons. The Sangria is fantastic too.
Loved the shady table on the street for afternoon lunch and people watching. Their specialty is steak, so when you crave beef, its a good place to go! We had beet salad which was deliocious, and the Rib Eye Special. The steak was huge, tasted good, and hit the spot! The only disappointment was the price which was much higher than expected. It was not on the printed menu, so no arguing. The manager explained that we had misunderstood. I will chalk it up to experience, but in future reconfirm before ordering.
We stopped in cold. We had no idea what this place was.We were taken very good care of. The waiter and chef were super, thank you for the personal touch. The salad was superb. Now the filet I was sure was going to be soso. It was one of the best ever. If was cooked beautiful perfect medium rear and the reduction sauce was great. Chef asked what sauce and I said what do you like. He enthusiastically said the reduction, perfect. The killer pork chop was stupendous. The desert kind of teramizu was great. The place was quaint and the colors were very nice. The rain was insane but we were dry. Thanks for dinner.
New menu items are exciting. Breakfast offers Scramblers, Bennies, and other choices. Polish Benny and Mixed Grill Scramblers are delicious, creative, and filling. Evenings offer great selections for dinner. Poached pear and blue cheese salad is loaded with bacon and savory. Smoked duck with goat cheese is an amazing appetizer! Of course their prime rib on Sundays can't be beat. The seared rib eye steak was the best cut of meat I have ever had. Go, go, go!
