Passatore - Puerto Plata

A better culinary experience than most places I was in Canada. The food was mastery, the service was amazing. I had one of the salads that was a meal in itself... Char grilled octopus with sweet cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and creamy chickpeas hummus with anchovies for Umami. He had cooked salmon fillet to a perfect temperature. If you're looking for a stylish night and don't worry about the check, that's the place to go!

Where to begin. we LIEBE Passatore. We had our wedding reception here and our 23 guests have traveled over this restaurant ever since! The food is absolutely amazing. I traveled to Italy and this restaurant makes every restaurant in Italy. From their freshly made pasta to their home made bread we could not find any mistake in any dish. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated and so delicious. We ate here three times in the 7 days we were in the Dominican! If something could be better, it would be the staff. Every single employee felt like a royal feeling. From the moment we went to the restaurant until the moment we left, we were treated beautifully. The cook came by to ask how our meal was and the rest of the staff is so attentive that we never had an empty glass! The restaurant was 3 minutes walk (if this) from our resort also! Eat hard at the resort because we knew that Passatore was so close! For all Brides get married at the resort in the Playa Dorada complex. Please inform Passatore about your wedding reception here! Trust me, your guests will thank you for the amazing food and atmosphere Passatore offers. The planning process with the owners was a breeze. It was easier to plan our wedding reception than our ceremony with the resort! Ondina Matthias are beautiful people who care so deeply. We can't expect to return to Playa Dorada. We were home less than a week and missed the food staff in Passatore since the day we left. We wish Canada was much closer to the DR! Thanks Passatore! Large Italian cuisine with excellent service. This is one of the jewels you shouldn't miss. I am so surprised and overwhelmed to find it unexpectedly here in Playa Dorada. Try it alone and let the magic come.

Totally a 5-star experience! From menu to dessert. Service was excellent and prices appropriate for what we enjoyed. The lobster was grilled for perfection and the lateral pasta was the perfect addition to the grilled shrimps. Try the apple cake! With satisfaction and taxes .

We certainly missed this place while it was closed! So happy now that it’s reopened! Get the antipasto with polenta as an appetizer! Quite honestly, any entrée is scrumptious!
