Chango's - Puerto Peñasco

Back again at Chango’s for two specific reasons shrimp with your michelada and awesome shrimp and octopus molcajete. Be aware up front that this place is built to separate tourists from their cash. All the menu items are in US dollars, and marked up....So you just have to order well. First, get a Chango’s michelada yes it’s $15, but their mix is amazing, the glass fits a whole beer, and it comes with seasoned shrimp on the rim like a shrimp cocktail. Then get someone to share the seafood molcajete, which comes out tongue searingly hot in a volcanic stone bowl bubbling with tomato based sauce and cheese melting in blocks. Combine the two and you walk away full, buzzed and happy.

Good food and service every visit! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner! Nice outside pool for those summer visits!

We always have dinner at Changos when we stay on Sandy Beach, and the food and the service is always excellent. The shrimp molcajete is awesome, and I love the Yaqui fish as well. Delicious!

Food was good, nice place. Had big patios, great for families. Atmosphere was fun. Service was very good. Will definitly go back.

Added, we went during the next season, but very boring. only one employee spoke English, and even tacos were not fresh.
